Tasting Notes

86-89
Vinous Ian d'Agata - 01 May 11
(70% cabernet sauvignon, 23% merlot, 4% petit verdot and 3% cabernet franc; 72 IPT; 13.5% alcohol) Inky-purple. Bright, floral, cabernet sauvignon-dominated nose offers red berry and mineral aromas. Then more red berries on the palate, with a saline nuance on the persistent, fleshy finish. Bright acidity really extends the flavors of red berries and underbrush. A smooth and very successful Sarget.
